Dave Mitchell and Renee DeRobertis are the proud new owners of the former Scotts Hill Vineyard.
Renee is from the United States and even more recently from Costa Rica where she owned and operated Renee's Cafe and Wine Bar in the North Georgia Mountains and Vina Romantica restaurant in Costa Rica.
Dave comes from the Coffs Harbour Area where he has been the lead scientist for the Australian Koala Foundation for the last thirteen years. He works with Geographical Information systems researching koala and their habitat. His background includes six years of Home Brewing.
They met online in July of 2006, met in person August 19, 2006, fell in love and decided to put their talents and passions together to create a small oasis for the public here in beautiful Victoria.
